PTA Plasma-Transfer-Arc Powder Welding compact for universal use
The INTERWELD IPP 500 T is a basic PTA (Plasma Transfer-Arc Welding) Equipment for hard-facing of various parts. The equipment may also be used for TIG welding. It is installed on wheels and has a holder for the gas bottle. Mainly it is used as stand-alone equipment for manual or semi-automatic applications. Mechanical handling systems are available. The cooling device is integrated.
Nevertheless because of various options it is possible to extend the equipment to a computer controlled system with mass-flow controller.

Control system
Interweld IPP 500 T is equipped with a Siemens S7-1200 control system. The controls are installed on the power supply. The CPU has a Siemens Profinet connection and allows digital and analogue communication.
As an option a remote-control (Siemens MP177 or similar) may be used (allows visualization, control and storage of all important welding parameters).
Gas control system
The gasses are controlled by rotameters. Mass-flow-controllers are available as an option.
